A hefeweizen revolution!
Saturday afternoon (after a successful MNB busin ss meeting), Joel and I transfered 10 gallons of our WeissGuy Hefeweizen into kegs. It’s been hot as a bible story outside, but we’ve only had scotch ale and stouts ready to drink for awhile now.
Fortunately that will all change tonight. Feel free to stop by. Send me an email if you want directions. We’ll have WeissGuy on tap and orange slices on the countertop (right next to Joel’s Mr. Pibb Zero).
New converts to the mint chocolate stout float
They laughed at Christopher Columbus when he claimed that the world was round. They scoffed at Jonathan Baker when he claimed that he had developed an amazing new dessert: mint chocolate chip ice cream and mint chocolate stout. History has proved the naysayers wrong on both counts.
I tested this fresh concoction on Steven and Martin (and for you beer-loving ladies, Steven, the guy in the white tee, is single). The key to enjoying a mint chocolate stout float, I’ve realized, is to look at it like a good dessert that happens to incorporate beer. Kind of like a bourbon chocolate cake or something. But not, because it’s better.
So who’s laughing NOW?!
This blog is… rated G?

Oh come on! We talk about BEER! Click to find out what your own blog is rated. I still can’t believe we got a G… I don’t even see PG-13 action movies anymore because I know they will be lame.
Also, we’re still in the thick of updating our site, so please let me know if you have any suggestions (things you would like to see, blatant errors, etc.).
Bear with us!
We’ll be working through kinks in the new site in the next couple days. Joel is responsible for any errors. Feel free to email him directly.
