No Means No? D.O.A.? Do Make Say Think? Swollen Members? Oscar Pederson? Those are just musicians too. Do me a favor and watch some Trailer Park Boys before writing off Canada. It's a wonderful place.

500 drunk undergrads in 1981 - that sounds just about perfect. Exactly why Bryan deserves patron saint status. Nothing like having a patron saint that peaked in 1981 but for some reason thinks its still a good idea to release an 11th album in 2008. Show 'em, Bryan.

HEY!!! You tell 'em, Kev. Exactly: Rush. How about The Band, too. [And William Shatner.] Not to mention Pursuit of Happiness's "I'm an Adult Now". But if you really want to know what you never knew, find the '90s band called "Odds". Best band no one outside of Canada learned about. That and the Dayglo Abortions. I can go one about the great Canadian music you know nothing about but suffice it to say I saw Brain Adams in 1981 with about 500 drunk undergrads. It was the best show he probably gave. Probably.

Travis and the Monday Night Brewers: Dudes. What is up? All these anti Canadian slurs with regard to musicians, and no one has mentioned Neil Young or Rush? I am disappointed in you all. That's like saying Heidi Klum is the only hot model to come out of Germany.

As far as this taste argument is concerned: it's all so subjective. I could throw a metal bucket down some stairs and say that it was musically on par with Mozart's The Magic Flute. This does not need to be the beginning of a long argument. A perfectly suitable response from you would be, "I like what Mozart did. I don't like what the bucket did."

In this particular case: I like what Bryan Adams did when I was in 5th grade.
