I like "weatherman's wit" : enough of a character I think. Quote Bob Dylan "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows" That way, you've got a really dimwitted weatherman as a character. AND you're quoting Dylan. What's not to like?!?!?

"Dull Wit" would work
"Twit Wit" would honor your viral web presence and the fact that many people ran into y'all on Twitter first.

I'm not much of a namer dude, but I also like Wit for a King and Weatherman's Wit.

Looking forward to the final product!

how about Ivy League Wit; and you could make reference to some "dry intellectual jokes" (as in like 5 professors laughing sitting around laughing at dry jokes about economics) and even have an "intellectual" character with a pipe or something.

Laissez-faire seems less tied to a character, much like "Witless" (can I get a Witless?!) or "Wit's End" appear to be. Coming up with a name is driving you out of your minds.

If you want to invoke a character, though, I'm not sure a Weatherman would be it, although it does make for a decent name. I think you'd have to give a good look at crazy folk. For some reason, Jack Nicholson comes to mind. I'm thinking something in relation to McMurphy from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, or Jack Torrance from The Shining. Strong, memorable characters that involve the question of sanity.

Even still, that theme opens up ideas for some great quotes that tie in with mental stability. Oh, and it'd be a good idea to ship some of the next batch up to Virginia so that I may ruminate over this topic a bit more...

How about Weatherman's Wit, with the apostrophe s ? Like the weather men in on small stations who try to tell jokes and wear bow ties.

Either that or Wittgenstein's Wit...
