Better mouthfeel, better beer

So I’ll come right out and say it. I just got my braces off. Excuse the rabid hillbilly smile in the picture. Turns out it’s hard to both show all of your teeth AND not look crazy:

What does this event mean for the future of Monday Night Brewery? The benefits are two-fold:

  1. I’ve obviously been challenged in discerning mouthfeels in beers with big porcelain towers on my teeth. Now I’ll be a tasting champ, rivaling even Jeff in picking out weird and subtle flavors.
  2. The ladies. Let’s just say I’m back on the market.

  1. Look out.

  2. How does you being back on the market benefit MNB in general? Is there better beer?

I’d argue that it just means more competition among the single guys at brewing events. Not sure that brings out more fans. Then again, maybe more single guys draws more single, beer-loving women to the festivities.

  3. OMG, I just ran by your blog. I am 24 and just got my braces off this past monday, and I feel the exact same way. Sometimes though, I have to remind myself it is ok to open my mouth again to smile. Congraduations!

  4. Additionally, you shouldn’t write take pictures and write blog posts while you drive.
