Brewing another milk stout tonight
Our first milk stout didn’t take to fermentation like it should… Probably because Jeff told Joel to drain the yeast before it was done working. But I don’t want to get into a “he-said, he said” type of situation.
Come on by tonight to witness history in the making. The second time around.

No luck on the first stout? Did it under-attenuate badly, or was it a matter of too much unfermentable lactose causing the FG to appear too high?
Under-pitching because of a yeast mishap (drained half of it off accidentally). It tasted okay despite the low attenuation, so we’ll see how it carbonates.
