Not to be totally last minute, but…has anyone voiced concerns about the double tie (on the guy and in the name)? I understand your reasoning behind not having a stein in his hand, but what about one in place of the tie inside the O?
How about making the word brewery stretch to the width of Monday Night? Just a wee bit more spacing between the letters…
Agree with Bryon on adjusting the tracking on BREWERY to fit.
I’d keep the tie on the O in Monday because there will be times when you’ll only be able to use the font treatment without the outline of the person and it will still have a stand alone element to it.
On the person the tie looks perfectly loosened. Get this mofo a beer! Great job guys – I’m doing a logo design now and I’m having to outsource it to a logo design shop – kudos to you for being able to do it yourself!
Do we get to find out who was the inspiration now?
Might want to look at the width of the tie coming off the neck into the knot. It’s a pretty big knot for such narrow inputs. This might be over thinking it but………. Love the look as a whole though. What was the inspiration?
Ughhghguhhh make it look like a stop sign with pink and blue.
Actually, I might agree about the top part of the tiny being just a leeeetle too skinny. But that’s just a very subjective and sort of fine-tuning comment… Otherwise, it looks fantastic. :)
The design works for me. The only other thing I might have considered is to have the guy put up his index finger as if to order a beer. Still, looks classy. Save the monk design for a special beer label.
I really like it! Nicly done. I do agree with Chipper on this one…have the ordering a beer would be great…

i digs it.
Thanks guys for all of your feedback. The tie size will stay as is. It may be slightly bigger than normal, but it will also be more distinguishable as a tie if the logo is tiny.
Bryon/Dr. Beer Love: We’ve played around with the spacing of brewery, and it does end up looking too blocky for us when stretched to fit. You’ll have to trust us on this one. =)
Matt: Soon, very soon.
Chipper Dave and Derek: Good thought, though we want to keep as much of the focus on the tie as possible. Closed fists are less intricate so consumers should (in theory) have a millisecond more time to take in the loosened tie. We’ll see how it plays out in reality.
