Brewing recap: “Wit or Witout You” edition
Last night we brewed our unnamed Belgian wit beer for the first time since last fall. This is always a crowd pleaser in summer months so we’re excited to see how it turns out. We’re even more excited since we hit our target gravity on the nose.

Why is this a big deal? It’s not, really. We just wanted to rub it in Jeff’s face. Jeff was out of town on a business trip and has a rather inflated view of his importance to our brewing operations. More on this later in the week.
We had a good crowd last night, which I attribute to:
- The weather
- Awesome beer
Those are obviously not listed in order of importance. Matt “The Firestarter” Altmix decided that 70 degrees wasn’t too warm for a fire so we also had a nice little fire going on the back deck. And just so he continues to do what he does for no recompense, a shout-out to Colin for cleaning 4 kegs for us before leaving.

We’re on track to brew another Eye Patch Ale next week. Thanks to all who came last night!
