Classic City Brew Fest in Athens, GA
On Sunday Joel and I drove to Athens for the Classic City Brew Fest. We were accompanied by Scott since Jeff couldn’t make it. All in all, a very fun time.

We were able to reconnect with some beer folks we hadn’t seen in awhile, which is always fun. After attending many beer festivals in the state of Georgia, I’ve noticed a law of diminishing returns if you’re going to try NEW beers. There are usually a ton of GOOD beers at these festivals, but there are fewer and fewer beers that I haven’t had yet. Which isn’t a bad thing. It’s just a thing.
It’s also imperative to decide who the designated driver is ahead of time. Because something like this is bound to happen:

Scott and Joel were in a dead heat for the “Who can look the most like a tool at The Varsity” Contest. Scott slipped on his shades and won it fair and square.
