Busy Little Bee
Busy Little Bee is a mixed culture sour ale fermented with a Belgian yeast strain, then
transferred to neutral oak barrels where
we blended in mixed cultures of brettanomyces and lactobacillus. We also added local Georgia galberry honey (hence the name). A secondary fermentation
happened in the barrels, and then we aged it for 6 months.
You’ll notice tasting notes of nectarine,
honeysuckle, pear, pineapple, lemon peel, roses, and - of course - honey.
