Tomorrow morning, Joel, Jonathan and I are meeting at Monday Night Brewery’s home for the past year (Joel happens to live there, too) and relocating the brewery to the garage of my new crib, about 5 miles west. Why make such a move?
- With some continuing sanitation issues, we thought that moving our supplies out of a basement environment and into my garage may provide a more sanitary storage spot.
- After a year of random people in Mary Stuart’s kitchen, we thought is was time to make a saint out of another woman, and Jonathan isn’t married yet. So my wife, Hannah, is the lucky woman.
- With a number of MNB regulars moving to the Westside in the past few months, we figured a relocation in that direction would be more convenient all around.
- Our goal over the next few months is to plan, invest in, and build a small “pilot brewery” to allow for greater control and consistency to prepare for commercial brewing and perfecting recipes. My garage has sufficient room for a less mobile system.
So come by Monday and check out our new setup! If you don’t know where my house is, send me an e-mail and I’ll get you directions.
