Monday Night Brewing is hiring a full-time on-premise food manager to help us build out and operate a food truck-style concept at the Garage. Reports to: 

  • Senior Taproom Manager


  • 2+ years in culinary/restaurant industry
  • Culinary school a plus but not a requirement
  • Fast casual or food truck vending experience a plus
  • Love of craft beer and food/beer pairings
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be highly energetic and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have strong management and leadership skills
  • Must be professional and friendly (even in tough situations)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends
  • ServSafe Food Certification

High-Level Goals:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for food service out of a stationary “food truck” concept at Monday Night Garage (with possibility of responsibilities expanding to include all breweries)
  • Develop and evolve food menu
  • Create exceptional guest experiences


  • Source, purchase, and stock food for daily operations, working with local vendors whenever possible
  • Maintain required records including food production, inventory, income/expense, meal counts, and personnel records
  • Ensure all staff follow proper sanitation procedures
  • Ensure standards are maintained while food is being cooked and served
  • Prep, cook, prepare, and serve food to guests
  • Plan menus, including creative development and budgeting
  • Ensure exceptional customer dining experience and respond to customer preferences and complaints
  • Set prices for each product on menu
  • Maintain equipment including refrigerators, coolers, stoves, irons, cookware, sinks, and prep tables
  • Hire, recruit, and train employees
  • Expedite food
  • Direct cleaning of truck and commercial kitchen
  • Maintain employee records, assist in preparation of payroll, and complete paperwork to comply with laws and regulations
  • Keep records of supplies and purchases

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs comfortably
  • Works with various cleaning products
  • Must be on their feet for long periods of time

Direct Reports:

  • Cooks and cashiers


  • $15-17 hourly, based on experience
