Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking a seasoned salesperson to join our small team. This is a full-time position, with competitive base salary and commission offered. Position is based in Atlanta, GA and will require frequent travel. Position reports to Sales Director.


  • 2 years sales experience minimum
  • Beer industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible working schedule, including weekends and evenings as necessary
  • Willing and able to lift 31.5 lbs and move 165 lb kegs
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be 21+
  • Self starter with excellent task management skills
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Responsible alcohol consumption – must understand that you are a representative of Monday Night Brewing and conduct yourself accordingly at all times


  • Build long-term relationships with on- and off-premise retail accounts to increase sales. This includes craft beer bars, neighborhood restaurants, Mom & Pop liquor stores and large chains.
  • Visit 10-12 accounts in person per day and use reporting tool to manage visits and follow-up
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Set up, manage and run promotions, events, and festivals including beer dinners, tastings, and beer-of-the month features, with the expectation of averaging 2 events (evening or weekend) per week
  • Communicate and work side-by-side with distributor representatives including training them about our beers and brand, and conducting ride-alongs with them.
  • Send recap of any market work that requires follow up to wholesaler management
  • Communicate with wholesaler on all aspects of events in their territory in a timely manner

Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking a maintenance technician to assist 10-20 hrs per week. Start date is immediate. Position is part-time to start.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Broad understanding of mechanical principles
  • Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment such as bottling & kegging equipment, conveyors, augers, transformers, motors, pumps, gearboxes and lighting fixtures, using electrical test equipment
  • Replaces damaged or broken equipment, wires and cables, using hand tools
  • Communicates, discusses and shares information about equipment malfunctions with team to develop and implement a corrective action plan
  • Observes functionality of installed equipment and systems to detect mechanical, electrical or operational hazards to determine need for adjustments or replacements
  • Troubleshoots machine center and operational problems by diagnosing if problem is mechanical, electrical, and operational or raw material related
  • Completes PM (preventive maintenance) work orders as assigned
  • Locates needed parts with vendors, technical/machine manuals, Internet and OEM specifications
  • Uses schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment or process related issues and problems
  • Calculates output ratios for motors and gearboxes, unwires and rewires 3 phase motors, changes out photo eyes, proximity switches and limit switches
  • Maintains work areas by keeping tools, equipment, parts and supplies clean and in order
  • Performs minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches, using hand tools
  • Lifts, positions, and fastens objects, such as wiring, conduit and motors
  • Replaces bearings and/or seals in electric motors and pumps
  • Is familiar with the lubricant reference manuals for selection of the correct types and grades of oil and lubricants used in brewery
  • Safely drills and cuts hole using tools such as power drill, knockouts, jigsaws and other cutting tools.
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit, using tools, such as hacksaws, pipe threaders, and conduit benders
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs and be able to alter or write PLC ladder logic
  • Replaces contactors, motor starters, sensors and other electrical input & output devices
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience as an Industrial Plant Electrician, preferably at a brewery or winery or other food manufacturing facility
  • High School Diploma and graduated from a Electrical Controls Vocational School
  • Capable Mig & Tig Welder
  • Forklift, Man Lift, Scissor Lift Certified
  • Hydraulics knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with Boilers, Air Compressors, HVAC, Glycol Cooling Systems, Waste Water Treatment and Water Purification Systems

Physical demands

  • This position is physically demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials
  • Stands and/or traverses brewery for long periods of time
  • Frequently climbs stairs/staircase
  • Frequently bends, moves, transports, or lifts 60 pounds and move 165 pounds safely.
  • Use repetitive motions
  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures
