Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking a seasoned salesperson to join our small team. This is a full-time position, with competitive base salary and commission offered. Position is based in Atlanta, GA and will require frequent travel. Position reports to Sales Director.

Qualifications

  • 2 years sales experience minimum
  • Beer industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible working schedule, including weekends and evenings as necessary
  • Willing and able to lift 31.5 lbs and move 165 lb kegs
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be 21+
  • Self starter with excellent task management skills
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Responsible alcohol consumption – must understand that you are a representative of Monday Night Brewing and conduct yourself accordingly at all times

Responsibilities

  • Build long-term relationships with on- and off-premise retail accounts to increase sales. This includes craft beer bars, neighborhood restaurants, Mom & Pop liquor stores and large chains.
  • Visit 10-12 accounts in person per day and use reporting tool to manage visits and follow-up
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Set up, manage and run promotions, events, and festivals including beer dinners, tastings, and beer-of-the month features, with the expectation of averaging 2 events (evening or weekend) per week
  • Communicate and work side-by-side with distributor representatives including training them about our beers and brand, and conducting ride-alongs with them.
  • Send recap of any market work that requires follow up to wholesaler management
  • Communicate with wholesaler on all aspects of events in their territory in a timely manner

Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking a full-time (though part-time will be considered) Maintenance Technician to help take care of all of our expensive equipment. Start date is immediate.

We’re looking for someone who will enjoy our energetic and fast paced environment.  No brewery or manufacturing experience is required, but we do need someone with a basic understanding of mechanical principles and an ability to learn and pick up new concepts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Mechanically Inclined – You understand how mechanical parts fit together. You like to take things apart and put them back together. If you’ve ever worked on cars, this would be a good starting point.
  • Electrical Knowledge – You have a basic understanding of key electrical concepts. You know the difference between AC and DC currents and what “voltage” and “amps” mean.  If you’ve ever worked on electronics or done wiring in your house, this would be a good starting point.
  • Plumbing Knowledge – You understand plumbing systems, including how pressure and flow works and putting plumbing joints together. You have a basic understanding of valves, pumps, and flow dynamics. If you’ve ever plumbed out parts of a house, this would be a good starting point.
  • Tool Head – You are passionate about the right tools and keeping tools organized.  This position is all about having the right tools at the right time so that we can minimize downtime of our operations. If you have a personal stash of tools and keep a well organized workbench, this would be a good starting point.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organization of all spare parts and tools
  • Lubricating and performing maintenance on bottling and canning lines
  • Taking apart motors and replacing seals on pumps
  • Creating a comprehensive maintenance calendar
  • Rewiring temperature probes, running new low voltage wires
  • Running new plumbing and process piping – using PVC or PEX piping
  • Running planned maintenance of brewery equipment
  • Performing unplanned maintenance quickly and efficiently

 

Optional, but not required:

  • Experience as an Industrial Plant Electrician, preferably at a brewery or winery or other food manufacturing facility
  • High School Diploma and graduated from a Electrical Controls Vocational School
  • Capable Mig & Tig Welder
  • Forklift, Man Lift, Scissor Lift Certified
  • Hydraulics knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with Boilers, Air Compressors, HVAC, Glycol Cooling Systems, Waste Water Treatment and Water Purification Systems

 

Physical demands

  • This position is extremely physical and demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials
  • Stands and/or traverses brewery for long periods of time
  • Frequently climbs stairs/staircase
  • Frequently bends, moves, transports, or lifts 60 pounds and move 165 pounds safely
  • Use repetitive motions
  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures

 

Compensation

  • Competitive based on experience level
