Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking an Events Specialist to join our incredibly good-looking team. This is a part-time, hourly pay position with opportunity for commission, based in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications:

  • Must love craft beer

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, primarily weekends and evenings
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Must have a willingness and ability to step in wherever needed
  • Must be physically able to move kegs

Responsibilities:

  • Representing the brand and brewery at beer festivals, pint nights, etc. during night/weekend events
  • Setting up and breaking down events
  • Engaging Monday Night Brewing customers by sharing the Monday Night Brewing story and product details
  • Training and overseeing beer festival volunteers
  • Interacting with retail and distributor customers

Compensation

Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking a seasoned salesperson to join our small team. This is a full-time position, with competitive base salary and commission offered. Position is based in Atlanta, GA and will require frequent travel. Position reports to Sales Director.

Qualifications

  • 2 years sales experience minimum
  • Beer industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible working schedule, including weekends and evenings as necessary
  • Willing and able to lift 31.5 lbs and move 165 lb kegs
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be 21+
  • Self starter with excellent task management skills
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Responsible alcohol consumption – must understand that you are a representative of Monday Night Brewing and conduct yourself accordingly at all times

Responsibilities

  • Build long-term relationships with on- and off-premise retail accounts to increase sales. This includes craft beer bars, neighborhood restaurants, Mom & Pop liquor stores and large chains.
  • Visit 10-12 accounts in person per day and use reporting tool to manage visits and follow-up
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Set up, manage and run promotions, events, and festivals including beer dinners, tastings, and beer-of-the month features, with the expectation of averaging 2 events (evening or weekend) per week
  • Communicate and work side-by-side with distributor representatives including training them about our beers and brand, and conducting ride-alongs with them.
  • Send recap of any market work that requires follow up to wholesaler management
  • Communicate with wholesaler on all aspects of events in their territory in a timely manner

Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking a new member to join the team. This is a full-time position, responsible for assisting the CFO to perform all Human Resource related tasks, Accounting, and bookkeeping of a rapidly growing craft brewery. Apply here.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all HR functions for the company: On-boarding & off-boarding; benefits administration and tracking employee eligibility; time card reporting and obtaining supervisory approvals; Vacation and PTO tracking
  • Perform bi-weekly payroll processing via a third-party payroll provider: commission calculations, expense reimbursement, voluntary deductions.  Submit to CFO for review.
  • Review, validate and enter payroll related journal entries, including expense reimbursement related activities
  • Issue W2’s and 1099s to employees and service vendors
  • Ensure timely payment of vendors and benefits processing
  • Maintain the payroll and expense chart of accounts
  • Customer and vendor management
  • Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
  • Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Bank reconciliations and cash management
  • Assist with month-end close and preparation of management reporting package
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and assist in analysis
  • Provide as-needed administrative support to management team
  •  Assist with year-end and quarter-end preparation of financial statements for tax reporting

Optional, but not required:

  • Experience with Quickbooks Online

  • This is a non-exempt full-time position and hourly rate will be based on experience
