Straight from the Hop Hut, we bring you a Hot Honey New England IPA made in collaboration with our friend Drew Smith: a beloved, former MNB Brewer turned owner of the wildly delicious Horror Struck Hot Sauce.
A classic NEIPA hopped with Citra Mosaic, Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, and Motueka, wildflower honey from our apiary was added to the whirlpool on the hot-side, imparting a hint of sweetness.
We then performed a cold-side infusion using Serrano and Devil’s Tongue peppers. Hand-picked from Drew’s very own garden, the essence of fresh pepper shines through on the backend leaving a pleasant, gentle whisper of heat on the palate (it’s not spicy. y’all).
