Monday Night Brewing and Run the Jewels announce their collaboration to honor RTJ’s 10th anniversary tour, an interpretation of the contemporary IPA: RTJX Southern IPA. This limited edition beer will be available on tap in Monday Night Brewing taprooms in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte and Nashville on Friday, Sept 22. Four-packs of 16 oz. cans will be available to-go at our taprooms in Atlanta, Nashville, and Charlotte.
RTJX Southern IPA will also be available throughout Run the Jewels’ four-night run of shows at The Eastern in Atlanta Oct. 2-5, 2023. Specialty beer retailers and bars in the Southeast will have a limited supply of RTJX beginning Sept. 22. RTJX Southern IPA will also be available nationally via BarTJ. Proceeds from this beer will be donated to our friends at PAWKids.
RTJX is infused with botanically derived terpenes. Red Viper wheat and corn grits from DaySpring Farms bring a distinct softness to this 6.5% Southern crusher.
Fresh Motueka, Nelson Sauvin Cryo, Nectaron and Citra Cryo (all generously donated by our friends at NZ Hops and Yakima Chief Hops), deliver a beautiful bouquet of tropical fruit and resinous delight. Finally, the terpenes add a subtle wave of fresh sour diesel and candied pineapple.
“In addition to delivering a decade of great music, Run the Jewels has been a tremendous supporter of craft beer,” said Brewmaster Peter Kiley.
“This beer is a celebration of El-P and Mike’s groundbreaking work together, and the joy it brings to all of us, their fans.”
“Mike and I work together on the board of PAWKids, which serves families in Atlanta’s Grove Park neighborhood. Their after-school programs, enrichment activities, and counseling build community and strengthen families. Proceeds from this beer will go to PAWKids and we hope RTJ fans will join us in supporting this great organization directly.”
