New Zealand-style Lager

The Lager Series from Monday Night Brewing kicks off with a New Zealand-style lager built on a base of Barke Pilsner Malt. Kiwi flavors hop into the game via Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and NZH-109, an experimental hop variety we access as participants in the exclusive Bract Brewing Program of NZ Hops.
Fermented low and slow in the tank at a chilly 9 degrees C, spunding brings a bounty of natural carbonation to the party. The resulting New Zealand-style lager is buoyant with flavors of watermelon Nerds, lemon cream and fresh grass and a gentle 4.8% ABV.
Czech-Style Lager – 10° Plato

Made with floor-malted Czech pilsner malt, this 10° Plato double-decocted lager, is a collaboration with Denver-based Cohesion Brewing Company, and represents one of our favorite styles of beers found in pubs across Czechia. You’ll find an easy-drinking, humble 3.8% lager with lots of body. This lager manages a delightful balance between the malt and Saaz hops, and delivers an intensity of grain flavor that is a hallmark of Czech beer. Pour to yield plenty of foam for the most traditional way to enjoy. Dej Bůh štěstí!
