GRAND OPENING AUG. 23/24 – OPENING WEEKEND SCHEDULE
A lot has changed in the craft beer industry since our launch in 2011. But one thing has remained relatively unchanged… our original taproom. When we started out, we couldn’t even sell you beer, though Georgia breweries had come up with a creative workaround by selling glassware and a tour. Over the years we’ve evolved: building out new taprooms, switching from bottles to cans, and launching new beers. And our original taproom has been a loyal sidekick throughout. Well, it’s time to give West Midtown a new starring role.
Reclamation
Right next to our original West Midtown location, there was a cool steel warehouse that was built in the 1950s. It was overgrown with kudzu, sitting in a little stand of big ol’ trees. An opportunity presented itself, and we’re excited to be launching Monday Night Grove in that same warehouse.
Working with our friends at The Atlantic Group, we’re turning this humble structure into our most stunning taproom yet. We’re creating a fully dedicated bar and restaurant experience that will be open 7-days-a-week, ALL DAY LONG, serving up our award-winning beer and lots more.

Connection
It is perched right on the newest (and pivotal) chunk of the Beltline, connecting Howell Mill Road and Northside Drive. Our goal is to revive the original purpose of our taproom, to connect people in meaningful ways over beer (and now coffee, cocktails, and food).
We are building a space where you can start your day with coffee and a breakfast sandwich, then catch up with a colleague or even have a business meeting – in person or online.
We’ll also have two Italian-built ovens supplying Neapolitan-style pizza, lunch sandwiches, wings and more – a veritable oasis in West Midtown, where the food scene has grown, but maybe not in the most approachable ways. Later (or for breakfast, I guess, we aren’t judgy), you can enjoy craft cocktails, N/A beverages, amazing beer and more in our airy taproom, or amongst nature in our large outdoor area. We’ll also have 8+ TVs, because it’s hard to find a place to watch a game in West Midtown these days.
The Details
If you’re more of a bullet point person, here you go:
- A new 7,400 sq. ft. indoor taproom with a curated seasonal cocktail list.
- 17,000 sq. ft. of outdoor communal space and patio with multiple fire pits, shaded by 62 preserved and newly added native trees.
- An increase to 30 taps will now offer the widest range of Monday Night Brewing beer of any location, with nearly 100 different releases per year. Basically we’ll be able to feature more of the deep cuts from our amazing brew team, for longer.
- An amphitheater-style outdoor space for live music and community gatherings.
- Twin Italian-built pizza ovens with a new house-made pizza menu, including dedicated gluten free options.
- Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries.
- A 20-foot outdoor LED TV screen will be nestled into the hill among the plants.
- Family-friendly amenities and private event options.
- Direct access to and from the Atlanta Beltline Northwest Trail.
- Ample free parking amongst three lots.

But wait, there’s more.
So what’s happening to the “old” space? It will still be home to our production facility, making your favorite beer that’s now available in four states.
We’re also going to turn our former taproom into Monday Night Greenhouse, a dedicated private events facility. We’ll be adding a catering kitchen, comfortable seating, and an elevated vibe refresh. That will be ready in September for everything from wedding weekend festivities and dance parties to non-profit fundraisers and networking events.
It’s hard to believe that 12 years ago we were making just 3 beers and pretty much only serving them in our taproom (remember tickets and tours!) as well as in a few local bars and restaurants.
We’re delighted to be investing in our future and our community, and making Monday Night Grove into a jewel on the Beltline and a new spot to gather with neighbors from West Midtown, Underwood Hills, Berkeley Park, Ardmore Hills, Collier Hills, Blandtown and all over Atlanta.
