Monday Night Garage is hosting its first-ever adult Summer Camp on Sunday July 14, complete with—you guessed it—an amazing selection of beers to pair with all that fun in the sun. (Milkshake IPAs, anyone?)
So, what does this mean? That you’ll be reliving your sun-drenched summer camp days as an *adult* by:
- Participating in relay races, including tug of war and a milk jug knock down, presented by Atlanta Sport and Social Club
- We’ll have awesome prize packages for the winner of the most games, including two passes to Decatur BBQ, Blues and Bluegrass Festival, a one-month membership at CrossFit AllFit, and a free registration for the Craft Classic Half Marathon/5K.
- Tie-dyeing (custom MNB shirts!)
- Playing water games, including a massive water balloon fight!
- Creating camp crafts
- Making s’mores, having picnics, and enjoying the sweet sounds of live music from local acts We Were Here and The Brotherland.
Oh, and did we mention, Summer Camp is totally free to attend.
Food vendors will include DAS BBQ, Rustic Pizza, and Doggy Dogg. Because what better way to satisfy your childhood cravings than with pizza, BBQ and hot dogs…that are great quality? How very adult of you.
We’ll also have Honeysuckle Gelato onsite with gelato sandwiches and scoops, and an entire Milkshake Bar brought to you by our talented brewers. The Milkshake Bar will feature four different milkshake IPAs including Slow Churn, Slam Dunk, Piranha Dealer and the brand new Depeche a la Mode—a cinnamon, white chocolate, and vanilla variant.
When you need a break from all the activities, you can enjoy these delectable treats in our air-conditioned picnic area.
Pro tip: If you get to the Garage between 11am and 1pm, you’ll receive a free Summer Camp cup with your first beer purchase! After 1pm, cups will be available for $5 with the purchase of a brew (you’re going to want a cup, we guarantee it).
Bathing suits are not only allowed but encouraged, and we’ll have tiki beach towels available for purchase. Well-behaved dogs on leashes (and in bathing suits, too) are also permitted.
